TDC Learning Centers provide early care and education for children across Greater Topeka. Our teachers and providers facilitate development to its fullest potential.
We are recognized as an innovative organization that provides high quality and unique services to a diverse population.
We believe that the well-being of the child is paramount to all that we do.
Our decisions and actions will be ethical and compassionate.
We will endeavor to foster a love of learning while advocating teamwork, transparency and integrity.
The TDC curriculum is based on the belief that children are continually learning, both in school and out.
Activities will provide learning in all areas of development: physical, cognitive, language, social, emotional and creative.
Parents are a critical part of this process, so a collaborative path of communication is extremely important.

Organizations, like TDC Learning Centers, are accountable for making sure United Way dollars are used to make an impact in the areas of Early Childhood, Youth Development, Financial stability plus Health and Wellness.
Our programs seek to keep teen parents in school, and keep all parents involved. We do this by hosting a variety of opportunities for volunteering, through parent-teacher conferences as well sending home educational materials on a regular basis. For many of our young families, their child’s teacher and center provides them with the only education on parenting and child development that they have ever received. This is a valuable gift that we can give to our families.
Another unique feature of our programs, is that because we receive community support, like that of the United Way, we do not have to limit the number of SRS child care subsidy families AND we can provide sliding scale scholarships to families who don’t’ qualify for subsidy, but might not otherwise be able to afford quality care. In addition, we work with families who are struggling, working with them to tap into community resources.
The dollars given help agencies, like ours, reach their goals to make a real difference. United Way of Greater Topeka has the strength and resources to create positive, sustainable change in our community. We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support from this vital partner.
